Standing 24 feet high, the nesting platform sits beside a brackish water canal, just a quarter-mile from Knotts Island Bay and three-quarters of a mile from the Atlantic Ocean. The platform features a 3.5-foot square nesting box at its peak. On the west side, the ospreys have a large roosting perch overlooking the canal. It is ideal for observing their nest and the surrounding area. The east side faces the Atlantic Ocean, where all the streaming equipment is installed to bring you an up-close view of these incredible birds’ nesting life.

We’ve set up three high-definition 4K cameras to provide crystal-clear views and audio 24/7.

• Nest Cam: focuses solely on the osprey nest, so you can catch all the nest action up close.
• Perch Cam: focuses on the osprey perch, offering a perfect view of these majestic birds as they roost.
• PTZ Cam: a PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) camera with a powerful 31x zoom, giving you up-close and detailed views of the surrounding area.

On top of the nesting platform, there is a state-of-the-art weather station offering real-time weather data straight from the nest.
